Hey All,
Have you seen this in the news? Pretty funny, but I'd hate for it to happen to me.....

Re: Lego Gun Arrest
Wow. Just wow. I'm not sure how I feel about this, on one hand I'm glad that someone saw what they thought was a gun and called the authorities yet on the other hand, said person should have made sure they were seeing what they thought they were seeing before poking their nose where it didn't belong. Ah well, lessons learned and tax dollars spent.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Re: Lego Gun Arrest
The lesson is to build LEGO guns in one's basement, but LEGO crossbows are OK. At least the minifig-sized ones.

While this story is awesome, I'm not sure bringing a toy gun to work is a smart idea.

When I read this story in my local paper, I laughed. But then I got to wondering. I don't any curtains in window of my Lego room, which is on the second floor facing the street. I wonder what people are thinking as they pass by?

I found this on the Brothers-brick, and all I have to say is
All the same, I do feel sorry for him. Man, I hope this never happens to me! I do think they should question the neighbor on why he was looking in other people's windows.

Re: Lego Gun Arrest
Wow, I mean the guy reporting it obviously had his heart in the right place, and kudos for him for apologising - as a girl-type person, I don't think it ever occurred to my mum to buy me toy guns (which I would have LOVED!
) so I used to make Star Trek-style blasters out of LEGO, often as I recall the kind that have a sort of closed loop round the butt and barrel... happy days, thank God it was before everyone became so paranoid!
