Black Falcon Mountain Fortress

Post by Peter de Yeule »

I've built this Black Falcon castle with a 32 x 32 plate and a pre-molded baseplate. I like how it turned out.
Check it out.

Great castle! Normally I don't like those big pre-molded baseplates but you have managed to integrate it really well in this creation. I agree absolutely with the comment on the MOCpage that you have balanced playability and accurate detailing well, such as the texturing and features in the walls which is superbly done. Overall a lovely little castle. well done! :)

It's beautiful for its size. You're done a lot to break up the plain grey walls so many castles suffer from, but I admit that your buttresses would be weak points invaders could target. ;-) Still, you've created something with a very 'alpine' feel that I believe goes well with the Black Falcons. Nice work.

Nice job integrating the straight wall pieces
The corner ones look a little more obvious, especially because of the little gaps and the angled portions
Overall with the wall pieces and the baseplate you've gotten a nice playset feel from it. Nicely done
...and that's how Equestria was made!
