Barrack

Post by Karzon989 »

Yesterday I built this Barrack. For me, it is very good because the hause looks kind of cool and its way more realistic than my older one. When you dont like it, you can say it of course. But please say why! I want to get better!

try using slopes for a roof, also dont use the Brick 1 x 2 x 5 but use 1 x 2 or 1 x 4
thi wil give a beter look

Also the thop of the barrack try giving it a realister look like so:

just go to brickshelf and search for ideas and I bet you can make even beter buildings then these!
just use your imagination and you can build amazing stuff!

This is a very decent little barracks. You've got all the right details. Unlike Kevin, I don't mind the bricks for the roof, slope roofs are parts intensive. It takes time to build up enough. This is a very good starter MOC. Keep it up!

Here's my nitpicks:

I would have liked to see a ladder or something for the guy in the tower. How did he get up there. Magic? ;)

I'm not sure what you intended with the red pattern of bricks in the wall. That has me stumped.

Lastly, personally I don't like a bunch of bald figs. If you don't have enough hairpieces, putting helmets on everyone is better than a group of baldies.

Build On,
Josh
AFOL and his money are easily parted.

Nice MOC. Looks fun to play with. The only thing I dislik is all the rough edges. Some areas the walls don't flow too well.
