Troll Chess Set
Troll Chess Set
I thought it would be fun to use all the new troll figures in a chess set. Unfortunately things have been pretty busy so I didn't have time to make a full set, so I just did one of each figure. I'm not crazy about all of them, the knight is supposed to be a troll bat-rider, which I may still try to tweak a bit if I have some time. The Flickr set has two pictures of each so you can see them at another angle. Enjoy!

Great Chess pieces! My favorite has to be the King and Queen. Although, I'm with Kevin1900, I'm not quite sure what the knight is. I think I see something behind it...

If you check the pictures on Flickr, I posted shots from the side. The knight is supposed to be a troll riding a giant bat, you can see him a little better in this picture: Link
It was not my favorite piece either, as I mentioned, I may still tweak it some if I have time.

haha now that you say it's a bat your right it looks pretty neat.
when I first looked at it and didn't read that it was a bat I thought it was some kind of evil ghost :O

Nice work. I think the queen is great. I love the dwarf head on a stick. Very good for a troll faction of any nature!
