Peligrad Castle finished: Fun with German Neo-Renaissance

The inspiration for this creation came from Peles Castle in Romania, a 19th century romantic Neo-Renaissance construction that I thought would be interesting to emulate in Lego.

I really like the tudor-style parts, and the transitions between the gray walls, white/tan walls and tudor style are really interesting.

The Tudor style on this MOC is excellent. It has a very three dimensional feel to it. The trees are also very nice. Great work.

Oh wow! This is really lovely. The whole castle seems very elegant to me. Even little details like the square tiles outside really draw the eye. Thanks for sharing.

I'm kind of curious about the tower that looks like a older style TV microphone or winter wool cap. It looks funny. The MOC as a whole is very professional looking, especially the table inside using arms as legs and the chairs. Very cool!

It's an eastern european castle, hence the onion dome

Now that you say that I can see it, but I'm not sure the shaping is quite right. That said I know they're pretty hard to pull off so hats off to you nonetheless.

i think the dome problem is that the top is round instead of pointed.other than the dome though, i like it. theres not much tat hasn't been said,so i'll say it again, the colour is nicely done and it looks well built

I like the Bram's-roof. The irregularity of the shape sort of draws you to the MOC. AT least it did for me. Great job all around especially on the Tudor walls. Great stuff here.

The technique on the rounded tower roof is excellent!
