Crownie Inn

Post by Peter de Yeule »

Here's Crownieville Inn, the place where the knights of this town go to drank their problems away. Tell me what you like/dislike about it...

That's not a bad little MOC you have there. It's small, but it's well-built and the color scheme is nice. I'm not sold on the brown arches on the left, but in all I think it's pretty good.

Great color scheme, and especially nice job on the jutting out windows on the second floor.

Looks like there's quite the party going on inside. Fun fun!

And the colors really do stand out, as well as the nicely decorated windows. :-)

It looks awesome! I like the base, with the wooden beam supporting one corner in contrast to the stonework. The projecting windows are a nice detail. It does seem cramped inside, but that's probably just from the perspective of the photos (which are also well done!). The partially gabled roof is also a nice touch. It looks very distinctive, in a good way. I like!

I like everything but that brown arch. I thinl it would be better if it was a full archway, not just half. Still, this is an excellent creation. I like the windows alot.

I wonder if you'd have reversed the brown arch it would have looked like a support for an addition to the upper floors? This is nice, I like it a lot.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.

I definitely like the MOC itself, though the red roof doesn't exactly remind me of Crownies. However, that doesn't deter from the actual MOC in the slightest.

Good work. I especially like the addition of the flower pedals to the windows.

I really like the white flowers as details by the windows. I think you did a very good job on the interior spaces. Although those rooms are very tight space, you still did convey the interior of an Inn. I like the contrast of white and black with the red roof. The only thing I'm not so sure about is the brown arch. I like it. It gives me the feeling of a porch or a veranda, maybe if it had a more decorative column instead of 2x2 bricks. Overall, I think you did a nice job. Thank you for sharing.
