I have always been fascinated with ancient Egypt, and this is by far the most impressive Egyptian MOC I've ever come across. I really don't know where to begin with the praise, so I won't even try. The only thing I would change would be to maybe have tan plates outside the walls to represent sand at varying elevations.
I think I can sum up my impressions of this in one word:
Wow.
Childhood: The flame that burns its brightest when we are least cognisant of it.
I'm not sure sand would really be accurate here. Currently the ruins of Tanis are on a silted plain. The ancient Tanis was on a branch of the Nile that has since silted up, but at the time it was probably pretty fertile and covered in silt.
0_o This is officially the best oriental/Egyptian creation ever. It's perfectly smooth, and it's all a uniform color. That is absolutely amazing. How long did it take you to build?
Rogue What is the most resilient parasite?...An idea. Highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed-fully understood-that sticks; right in there somewhere. -INCEPTION

It took me a little more than two months.
Thank you for your kind words.
Non nobis, non nobis Domine, sed Nomini Tuo da gloriam!
Congrats on another fantastically huge scene. The design and layout are well done. My only nitpick would be the area around the pyramid I would like to be sandy but naturally the artists choice is all that matters. Well done!
Very Inspiring! Those are alot of slope pieces you have there. I hope to build something similar to this one day. An excellent theme. 1 question though, what is the ark of the covenant doing in Egypt?
