But based on what I can tell from this picture, I like the concept. Painting the helm gives it some nice character.

Thank you! I like so much your Black Falcon Knight, it's an excellent custom. For a better photo, maybe you can use more illumination with many lamps. Also, you can select in your camera the flower symbol (if it is available) for a near-to-objet photo .

You will definitely have to illuminate it with lamps. The best would be to bright light from the front and from beneath the object. I love to to macro pictures (flower symbol) for I love the result of the quality.It is mostly so good! I love to take pictures of certain online flowers or my own garden. I even have a big picture photographed and printed out with about 24 LEGO Castle objects. It's in the living room and it looks really great!
