Wal-Mart Clearance in W. Washington

Guys,

Just wanted to let you know that several Wal-marts in Western Washington State have been marking down most of their large (over $70 or so) sets.
The one I went to had Helm's Deep on sale, as well as a lot of Star Wars and Marvel sets marked down.

I was initially bummed, because I was on my motorcycle and didn't know how I was going to get all of these sale items home, but I decided that where there's a will, there's a way!!

Helm's Deep was $99 after 9.5% sales tax.

A Wal-Mart in Michigan I just went to had 9473 The Mines of Moria on clearance for $54.

Lots of other lego of all sizes was newly on clearance this weekend.

After hearing this was more widespread than just one store, I went to two different Walmarts in SW Ohio to see what I could find. They did have a few sets on clearance, but it was limited to PotC, Alien Conquest, one or two Star Wars ships, and the Heroica games. Major bummer, $54 for Mines of Moria is an amazing deal. Thanks for the heads up though!

Lots on clearance (varies by store) in North Western Nevada too.

Of specific interest to the CC folks: Helms Deep, Moria and Weathertop all 30% off, at least in the Fernley NV store. Dinos on sale there too, along with some town, star wars, alien quest, spongebob, creator and friends. Games too.

I could have spent $1000, but limited myself significantly.

I'm not sure what these clearance prices mean for the LOTR line...
