The building looks nice. I like the windows on the side and the indented door. If you added some landscape, It would look much nicer. Even a little bit of grassy plate elevation does wonders.

Good work on the building, I especially like the vines on the back. I agree that some landscaping would improve it a lot though :D

Thanks for the suggestion! I've only recently started my collection, and I guess it would be a good idea to buy some pieces for landscaping.

I'll third the comment about landscaping, though I always run short on landscaping pieces so I can understand when MOCs don't always have a lot of it. I posted a few comments on flickr for you, things that I ran across while building my tavern recently that I felt gave it a certain finished quality. I realized while looking over your pictures of this MOC that your screen name seemed familiar, and then I remembered that I had looked at your other castles before. As I commented on them previously, you have a nice retro style that really shines through all of your castle builds. Over all, I like your tavern. I think it is a solid build combining a classic castle look with some modern elements.

Particularly on the back of the MOC, the upper half is really nice and has a lot of great texture, while the lower half is very flat and plain, other than the plants. Adding some protruding or indented elements to that lower wall would add a lot to this build.

Dr. Jackles and I share a Flickr. We try to label who's built what. If I haven't said so before, I dig your Tavern and Hunter's Hall.

Jackles, I'm glad you've gotten into it. I really like it here, and I'm sure you will too. You can borrow some of my green bricks for your landscape next time. :) I like the interior you built for the tavern a lot. The Medieval Market Village seems to have added a lot of useful pieces to your collection. If only it weren't produced with all of those new colors!
