A Dragon bridge. Replica of the real bridge still standing in Ljubljana city.
There is a lot going on at and arround the bridge.
What needs description is soaking the fraudulent baker in dirty river. This was a punishmant in mediaeval times without judge decission. If bread was found too light or wrotten baker was instantly put into cage/basket and get half drowned to remember and others to see where not to buy next time. Quite successful method, I belive it will work today too (not just for bakers).
Next story is about a girl named Urska. She was rich and hauhgty, deceiveng suitors with faulty hopes to get expensive presents. One night a 'waterman' came from the river disguised in handsom young man and dance her away to the river banks and into the murky waters. She was never seen after.

PS: I do not know how to describe 'waterman' in English. He is a kind of a king of rivers. Here is link to what he looks like in fairytales: http://monnika.blog.siol.net/files/2009 ... 21jpg2.gif

Re: CCCX Dragon bridge
I really like the intricate details on the side of the bridge. Also, white bridges are not that common, so it is nice to see one. Well done!

Re: CCCX Dragon bridge
The waterman is called a Vodianoi in other places, right?
Other fairy tales have a Nix, that would do nicely as a substitute.
I was in Ljubljana this summer, it was great, as is your rendition.

Re: CCCX Dragon bridge
In my language 'waterman' is caled 'povodni mož'. It is probably understood for majority of slavic spoken people. 'Vodianoi' is not a Slovene word, however 'voda' means water so it has something to do with water.
