LCC CG4 (Outlaw) - Battle of the Three Armies

Post by Burlogh »

Somewhere deep in the Loreesi desert.
The night was cold and dry as always. Burlogh O'Rohal checked the guards then wrapped his blanket around his body. He spent all his life in the damp and hot jungle and hated the desert's burning daylight and freezing nights. Finally he fell asleep but even his dreams were interrupted.
Behind his closed eyelids a scarred face appeared and a rough voice spoke.
- Greetings, warchief.
- Klarn Ugbarn. Can't say it is good to see you. What happened?
- Warchief, the world we've known changed in an eyeblink. The king of the humans is dead. He was murdered and the lords were at each other's throat a mere moment after. Castles were burned down and hundreds of knights died in the last few days.
- Good, very good - Burlogh smiled. Then we are in the best position to hit the heart of Loreos.
- Wait, warchief. There is something else. From the chaos an ancient entity emerged. He's called Dark Master and proclaimed himself leader of the outlaws.
Burlogh cursed.
- No damned way. We had a hard year. My people sweat, bled and died for their freedom. I refused to bow for the king of the humans and I refuse to do it for some wannabe outlaw king. Even if every other outlaw leaders does. Thanks for the information, Klarn Ugbarn.
The witch doctor disappeared from his head but Burlogh spent the night awake, trying to figure his next step.

A few days later.
Burlogh O'Rohal surveyed the battlefield. His clan members tended their wounds and sacked the dead knights.
- Lenflads in the desert. What the heck are they doing here?
- Warchief. You should see this - a warrior handed him a parchment.
Burlogh broke the seal and read. When he finished his smile was wide and satisfied.
- Hey lads, come here. We have a new plan.

And a few days later an unanticipated agreement was born...

A week later in Dalmanutha.
Sir Edvyn sipped on a glass of red wine. He was pleased. After twenty years of active military service Lord Mencot promoted him as commander of a small barrack in the outskirts of Dalmanutha. It was a comfortable and silent place, mostly occupied by injured and aged knights and filled with weapon and armor supplies. Nothing happened here and Sir Edvyn loved that fact.
- To arms! Orcs at the gate!
Sir Edvyn choked on his wine and almost fell back with his chair. He grabbed his sword and hurried to the wall. A small band of greenskins stood in front of the gate. They seemed calm and well armed. Their leader stepped forward.
- Actually I'm a troll. And believe me, you will soon be happy to see me. I want to talk to Sir Edvyn.
The commander stepped forward.
- Here is a letter from Lord Mencot. Read it fast and get your troops ready. Lenfels will be here in a few hours. And open the gate to my lads, we are here to help you defend the barracks. Don't be so shocked, this letter explains everything.

And two hours later Lenfel invaders faced against the first combined Loreesi-Outlaw army...

Great entry, you captured the look of the original, yet still made your build look significantly different.
I like the effect of the brick-bricks and dark bley plates and the palm tree is excellent :)

The minifig action in this is great. I especially think that the part with the elves climbing the tower is cool.
You would rather be building right now.
