That said, I thought I'd mention the two traditional castle-related items that came out in January.
Everyone knows about the Wolfpack Beast Master CMF. I have all of the OG Wolfpack sets from my waning days of childhood before I fell into my first dark ages. I think loved the Wolfpack as a kid, but I think they're overhyped these days. This is a solid CMF, but I don't personally get the obsession people have with it. I bought one and a spare using a scanner app, I left the remaining ones at the store (6-ish). I don't believe in keeping kids from getting toys just so I can "army build" as an adult and I sort of hate the way TLC markets these few and far between castle figures. Either way, he's a neat figure and the wolf is a cool piece.
Now, the Medieval Dragon 3 in 1 is a different story. This thing looks great built and was fun to put together. Some people don't like brick built creatures, but given that Ninjago is the only other medieval adjacent theme out there, we only have largely brick built dragons to compare it to. I have the black fantasy era "large figure" dragon and it's neat, certainly full of play value, but it's less impressive to me compared against this 3 in 1.

Obviously my recommendation is to buy both, but the dragon is the real star as far as I'm concerned.
I'll be curious to see what happens late Summer with the Unicorn Castle and Horse Knight Castle 3 in 1s that are rumored. TLC really needs more in the $10-$125 USD range for Castle sets, so hopefully these rumors bear out.
