The somewhat spectacular thing about this castle is the great amount of nice building ideas in spite of the bigness. And the fact that there is no really weak spot in it, in respect of the busyness of the overall-picture, not in respect of the conquerablyness of the walls...Formendacil wrote:That's a nice castle structurally, although i wouldn't call it anything spectacular (although it IS big...)
Those purple tiles were available from Pick-A-Brick (in Germany, so please don't ask if that's the case with any North American PABs as well). What stuns me is all that purple! That stuff has to be fairly expensive, I would assume. I mean, how many sets have those pieces?
I'm not sure if those are panels. I assume it's a combination of tiles and regular 1×2 bricks.Bruce N H wrote:the use of 1x2 panels in this canopy
Looking at it again, you're right. They actually vary in height. I was just looking closely at that Legoland CA picture we discussed in the other thread, and they used 1x2x1 panels on steps to make an effect like that, so I guess I just had that in mind.Jojo wrote: I'm not sure if those are panels.
