A question for all ya Customizers

Post by Ja_izzle »

Hey, this is a question for all you customizers out there.. I am currently in the process of buying a Khhadu( i think i mispelt that) but anyway, a khaddu is the mount of choice for the gungan knights, so anyway, i am buying one of these, and i am going to paint it black ( i saw this on brickshelf) and i was wondering if it would be best to paint it by hand or to spray paint it, and it testors paint a good brand to use?

Jason

p.s. also, how would you guys suggest for painting 5 of Red Bean's sage beards black.?

Just be sure to prime.

I use Citadel spray paints.

I can't see any difference. Your choice. However it might be a bit harder with spray paint because of all the little cracks and nicks.

Wash the figure in warm water with mild detergent (Ivory, Joy, Palmolive, etc.). Spray paint will give you a smoother texture. Two or three light coats is better than one heavy coat (which will run or have drip marks). I do not recommend Testor's, but I haven't used it in a long (long, long) time.

Jason,

If you're referring to my "Necron 99", I used Citadel paints.
You can prime it first, but for the record, I did not.
