Post by Longbowmen »

Hi you guys...

Some of my knights are currently camping in the wildernis, they got tents and a luggage cart but they don't have a campfire.... Because i dont know how to make it... I've searched brickshelf but i didn't found a thing (or i just completly mist it). So here my question:

If you don't have all those pieces to commit, you can also just use a 1*2 plate with center stud, put the flame piece standing up in the stud, and place some small brown plates to simulate wood around it. It doesn't look as fancy, but it works. Plus, since it isn't very large, you can easily build a spit or or hang a pot of stew over it.

In the old days when i didnt have much LEGO I just gathered some black/brown bricks and stuck a flame in the middle of it.

I usually use the jumper plates (as Dr. Sparkles suggested) with flames sticking up, and then I put stacks of brown 1x1 round bricks as logs between the flames. Brown lightsaber blades could also serve as firewood.

Those were the ones I thought of when I saw this thread, so I am glad Bruce linked you to them. I like Nate's too, but I like the raging flame look of Bruce's better... more chaotic to me.
