Sell your Mega Bloks to me!!

Post by garsh »

This offer is temporarily suspended so I can save up cash for Pyrates!
You're still welcome to leave me messages, I just won't be likely able to buy right away.

Even though this forum is really for LEGO Castle interests, I know some of you must come accross Mega Bloks parts from time to time. Some of you might want a good way to get rid of them to preserve a 100% pure LEGO collection.

My collection of Mega Bloks sets is considerable, but I hardly have any spare parts at all. I would like to get inexpensive spare parts to build with or add to my existing models.

Depending on your asking price, I would consider buying just about any Mega Bloks parts used or new.

My goal in buying second-hand is to get bulk parts cheap, so if you're looking to make a profit, or break even, you might be better off Ebay-ing your stuff.

If you want to unload parts from a set that you bought to nab pieces from and want to cut your losses a bit, or would just like to do a fellow castle builder a favor, send them my way!

If you're feeling particularly charitable and just want to donate your Mega Bloks to me, I'll gladly accept them and I'll pay reasonable shipping charges.

Parts I'm most interested in include the following, but I'll be glad to hear about anything you have...

* Mega Bloks Dragons - any parts or whole sets, but especially:
- base-plates, any size, shape or color, but especially green
- 2x4 rounded grey "masonry" bricks
- 1x2 rounded grey "masonry" bricks (unfortunately rare)
- minifigure weapons or utensils of any kind
- metal bars (like jail-cell windows)
- accent pieces like tree trunks, "planks", gargoyles...

* Pyrates - anything at all, I want it!

* Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- red brick patterned wall pieces
- garage doors

* Alien Agency
- the space ship
- accent pieces like the "clone tubes" (or whatever)
- any figures
- red brick patterned wall pieces

* Power Rangers Dino Thunder
- base plates
- foliage: plants or trees
- computer console decorated bricks

* SpiderMan
- street lights
- mail boxes
- red brick patterned wall pieces
- traffic lights
- Mary Jane minifigures

* Command Ops
- base plates
- rounded "masonry" bricks of any kind
- metal bars (like jail-cell windows)
- minifigures
- motorcycles

* Mega Bloks in general:
- any bricks and slopes in any color
- any plates or "flats" of any color
- minifigure weapons or accessories of any kind
- parts in earth-tone colors; greys, browns, tans, greens

Leave me a reply and/or private message including:
- what you have (as general or specific as you think is called for)
- whether you're selling or donating
- an asking price range
I'll respond as soon as I see your message!

I would prefer to pay Cash-On-Delivery.

This message will be updated as my situation demands.

Right on. I buy large lots of Lego on a regular basis and I often end up with left over Mega Bloks. I will keep you in mind.

Garsh,
Bummer :( - a day late - I just sold 10 pounds for $20 (CDN) at a garage sale. I will keep you in mind for pieces I find in my bulk purchases - I still have some to sort.
Cheers,
SirBert.

Thanks for the replies already!

Because of all this unexpected support I now have three Mega Bloks MOC projects planned. One is a modest idea that I was going to make happen one way or another, and it's looking like I can make it a lot more elaborate than I'd planned. A related idea I had was more of an aimless inspiration, but now it's actually likely to happen.

My long-term plan is a large and complex castle built of almost nothing but Mega Bloks rounded grey "masonry" bricks, and if today's response is any indication, it might not be just a pipe-dream anymore.

I have several Megabloks sets. Here's the list...

SETS INCLUDE:
Warrior Future Force

U-240 Assault +3 recon drones (with instructions)

U-122 Striker (with instructions)

Megabloks Dragons collection (all are complete with instructions)

Sorcerer’s Lair (dragon, 5 men for each army, catapult)

Battle Gate (dragon, 4 men for each army, catapult)

Warriors Fortress (2 dragons, 2 horses, 6 men for each army, catapult and giant wheeled bow)

7 tins with extra men and weapons

The Megabloks Dragons collection would cost about $170 new, selling for $100
The Megabloks Warriors Future Force would cost about $70, selling for $40

Private message me if you're interested. :)

If you can't tell, I really want to get these off my hands. :)
:wink: The price is somewhat negotiable :wink: .

Unkown Knight, I've private messaged you. Thanks very much for checking with me!

Out of curiosity, how did you come to own all these sets you don't want?

garsh, I've private messaged you.

Well here's the story of how I came to own the Megabloks Dragons:

I went into a sort of lego castle dark age after Knight's Kingdom 1 (since there were no new castle sets for a long time) and when I saw the Megablok's Dragons stuff on the shelf at Walmart it had a kind of shock and awe effect... So long story short I ended up with the three sets and several expansion packs.

And now 2 years later I've lost all interest them and have been trying to sell them for a long time.

So much the better for me! :D

As time goes on I just want more of this stuff to build with. I'm glad you have 5 War Chests indluded, as those small bases are useful for hills and such, and more is better.

You've been replied to, Unknown Knight. :)

Thank You! :D This is perfect, I just tried to sell the Dragon Mountain on Ebay, but no one would buy. It was $90 originaly, but I'll sell it for $50. If you're interested PM me. It is 100% complete.
