Images in quotes

Post by Nick »

Does anyone know how to put an image into your quote space??? If you can at all, that is.
I suspect that only admins can do that.

Drake is correct. To insert an image, just use the image tags ( Image [/url] (remove the spaces)

to produce this:

[/quote]

Make sense?

The way that I learned how to do many of the posting tricks with pics ect was to:
1) find a message (any message, like Glencaer's above) that has the trick in it already;
2) hit the Reply button for that message (which brings up all the content and coding of the message);
3) look at how the images were typed in and follow the same concept for my own posting.

Some bigger messages have required that I copy and paste into a word processor program to get a better look at how the img and url tags work.

Yes! Check your pm's and do not use a signature image taller than 100 pixels. Loading large images on every post you make is annoying to our members with slow connections. Read the Terms of Service: http://www.classic-castle.com/tos.html Thank you.

Ok, I've got rid of the image. I'll try to find another one.

Thank you. I recommend using a 100x700 or smaller signature image. These work well and can fit a large amount of text or minifigure pictures.

I recommend not putting an image in your signature.

It's bloody annoying, just be content with having an avatar!

Agreed, but there's little we can do about it. If Nick likes it then its entirely up to him.

Looks cool though. :wink:

Well, if it slows connections down, I guess I'll refrain. I don't mind, the symbol I wanted to put has too many political associations, I'd rather be neutral.
