Autumn Scene by Sir Nelson

Post by architect »

Check out this great Autumn Scene vignette that Sir Nelson made.

Image

It has a great use of brooms to make hay in a field and a new scarecrow construction. Discuss this great vig :)

Yes that is a great vig. I love Autumn more then any other season. I like how Sir Nelson managed to keep it all in Autumn colours. I would have never have thought to use brooms to make hay bales. I never even knew they came in that colour.

Great job! 8)

Wow, this is cool! At first I thought it was a new set (then I read the caption). This is great! Excellent use of pieces.

I really love that, reminds me that Halloween is near. It's excellent for setting you up in the autumn mood.

I think this is one of my favorite vingettes. The scarcrow was very well made.:D

Same with me. After fall, I like winter best.

That is an awsome vig. The instant I saw it I wanted to try and incorporate my own version of that into a scene. That vig is sooo cool.

Thats also a good vignette. I don't think it has the same affect as the other one though. The base should be brown and there should be(in my personal opinion) more red and orange.

This is a great fall moc!! I love the scarecrow the most... I'm not sure how I feel about the brooms... it doesn't look like hay to me (having worked on a farm for many years may be why I'm so picky), but the brooms do have a nice effect... maybe as just brooms? No, that weird... well, I love every part of this moc, I love especially how everything is brown or orange... and a good use for that annoying (to me) pumkin head! 8)

>>Edit... how cool is that scarecrow body? Simple, but made of many small, well-selected pieces.

What set do those brooms come in? I know there are brown in HP sets, but these are tan.

I can't be sure of all the sets, but I got my tan brooms from the HP shop set here: http://guide.lugnet.com/set/?q=4719_1&v=z. Personally speaking, I can tell you that this is a good set for getting nice little nic-nak parts for castle. :)

Colder? Isnt that a plus? I heat warmth, the world should be mildly warm and mildly cold, or just cold, never super-heated!

This is magnificent. The only thing that could be better was having orange heads instead of the jach o' lanterns on the ground, but thats very small.

Cool ideas. Good imagination.
