Do not create action figs

Post by Shadow »

Dear Lego,

What the heck were you thinking when you created KK 2 action figures? Please don't continue with this ridiculous trend.

I don't entirely mind so long as it doesn't interfere with the minifigs.

They're just giant versions of the KK2 minifigs. So kids all ages and Bionicle fans can have a taste of KK2.

I don't mind the big figs as long as they don't replace the minifigs.

i like the big figs. I have two complaints.. one is the "action swing" function or whatever. They should be just poseable.
My other complaint is that the hinges that come with the knights are useless for other creations.
They should have included some bricks to attache them to other lego...
ah well..

The Knight Kingdom guys also hold their swords in their left hand. That is historically inaccurate. I think that they look like power rangers, what with all the colors and powers. I have to disagree with Freak about the hinges though, they can be used for other things like mecha

Ok... I have to agree that bionicle was successful. I'm just a bit irratated since Legos aren't supposed to be GI Joes .

Anyways....

How so? What's wrong with a sinister knight?

Besides, if your were going to gripe about the "historical accuractness" of KK2 figs, methinks the barbie blue armor would be a better target than which hand they hold the swords in...

That's an interesting avatar Sir Vincent.

On Topic:
The colors are okay with me, it's a toy for kids, I just wish Lego wouldn't go switching up the arms like that. Why did they need to do that in the first place? It wouldn't have ruined the feel of the toy if they held the sword in their right hand.

Ask a stupid question (as I now will):

Is Bionicle still hugely popular? The toystores I visit regularly (here in Ireland) sold out of the vikings in a week, then put Bionicle/KK2 giant figs on the isle edge and haven't moved a noticible quantity... the newest KK2 figs are alll on sale... On the other hand even the new town sets are sellling well. Return to system anyone?

I haven't been in the states since the new lines came out, what's happening?

God Bless,

Nathan

I'm not a big fan of this idea... but I don't dislike it all that much either...

I won't buy it, I won't burn it... it just is.

As was said earlier - just leave my minifigs alone, and all is well. :-)
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

At my Walmart the Bionicle figures and KK2 guys are going nowhere fast. Maybe they'll be on sale soon
