Nice MOC, I like the use of 45degree underside slopes on the upper stories, it makes them look like they are made out of hewn wood rather then carefully carved as they would using arch peices, gives it a more military feel.
As for photography, try this thread at Classic Space (I know blasphemy to mention spacers here
) But these are great tips for photographing any MOC, most questions relevant to blurryness are not answered in the first couple of posts but are sorted out later in the thread so keep reading!

I think the roof really makes the whole MOC. If it had a boring roof, it would just be ho-hum design, but with that interesting roof, it really looks great. Also a great idea to add ladders, I can't stand it when people build things that can't actually be used. Just a pet peeve of mine I guess. Nice job!!
