*grin* I USED to have that kind of money! ;) But I see that giant thing sold for 31K for the final bid. Wow!

And, if anyone wants the secret of traveling the world and making lots of money (to spend on lego) ... send a self-addressed, stamped envelope containing $25 and 100 classic light-grey 2x2 bricks to ....

As for me, I am grateful that the Lego community could support such a great cause as this.

It just goes to show that while the AFOL is just a small percentage of the total customers of Lego, we are willing to spend quite a lot to support our habits.
