I'm going to purchase a website for Christmas yet have no ideas for a name. The website will be for two businesses, The Brick Central, and my story. The name has to be something cool, yet practical. Maybe latin

That is nice... very catchy... I second this idea...Maedhros wrote:Umbra.... Shadow in latin

If you want to combine noun with an adjective, better use correct gender:Shadow wrote:Ok... I have a few ideas I want to bounce off you latin heads![]()

All the 'nets' can be dot coms as well.
Tell me what you think
Very probably because umbrella derives from umbra.Umbra reminds of umbrella
No, no doesn't work that way. Word is umbra, and simply means shadow. In english there are no genders for nouns as far as I know, but in latin and many other modern languages there are. It doesn't mean you are a woman tough, don't worry.Shadow wrote:Well since I'm a male I would appreciate a male name for shadow. Is the correct translation umbrus?
