Torino Joe

Post by Sir Nelson »

Joe Vig is proud to be an Olympic torch bearer in this year’s Winter Games in Torino. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know his way around the countryside and ends up.... well... click on the image to see!

I was wondering if/when we'd get some Torino vigs... but I didn't think about Joe vig!

This is really funny - I was laughing out loud - a perfect Joe vig, too. Innocent Joe about to experience a world of misfortune once again.

On another note, I really like the bobsled run and the sled itself. The effect of using flat/smooth white pieces like you did is perfect, and the track looks very realistic. I also like the heads/helmets too... what theme or set is that from?

Very well done - I love this!

Excellent big vig, Dunechaser...umm...Sir Nelson. :) Seriously, this is sweet looking MOC. Perfect Joe Vig, but I also really like the run and the bobsled. Excellent job there!

Finally a decent use of those racers' bodies! And the sled is great to ;) The terrarin (always the most important) is really well done, I would never have thought such a great effect could be achieved with flat tiles...

God Bless,

Great Vig! I always liked the 16x8 or larger vigs. The bobsled is also one of my favorites, so great job!

Another great vig, as said above, those what I thought were useless racer bodies work very well here. This larger style of vigs seems to work great and it's something I want to start working with in the future. :)

As much as I find "Me too!" posts to be useless, I don't have much to add. The bobsled run is great, and your use of the Racers bodies shows that even "useless" pieces can be integrated into a cool MOC. Nice job!

(I showed this to my wife this morning, and she said, "Oh, this is really funny! It's that disaster guy, right?" Joe Vig, starring as Disaster Guy, in a Nelson Creations production: Bobsled of Doom!)

I can't say enough of your MOCs. From urbania humor to this, I can't beat it. I was in Italy recently, but had to leave before the olympics... its a pity. Its a pleasure to coast through your Brickshelf. ;)
