Not to raise an old thread but:
1) There are always 'extra' pieces of certain parts. For example, 1x1 rounds - there will always be 1 extra of each color.
2) I found this post because I just picked up an 8877 for 50% at Target last night, and after building it today, I also had an extra of the 'little bag #1'! Woot! I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else, or if some AFOL who hates the jellybean knights stuffed it in some box hoping someone else would like it
The inventory in my bag was slightly different, which is strange though...

Since I picked up the set mostly because I hadn't really bought any KKII sets and wanted some accessories, this was extra cool! Too bad there aren't more, so I could hope to get them at 75% off!

I'm not too sad your's didn't come with more rainbow armor, but the Elite Shadow Knight stuff is cool.
