Favorite Minifig

Post by Mr. D »

Ok, Sava posted a tongue-in-cheek topic about his "favorite minifig". I'm wondering what everyone's favorite LEGO fig is; whether it's Castle or not. Please tell us what you favorite official fig is, and say why it's you favorite. My favorites are (sorry, not pics): Black Falcon Spear-man like Jojo's guy, the knight w/euro armor from 6059 , and the Forestman with red/green cloths and a yellow plume.

mmm, so many to chose from...

The Classic Blue Knight and his Squire
The blacksmith from 6040
The swordsman from 6030
The spearman, and the King from 6080

Those would have to be the Castle figs.

As for others... that could take a while...
I'll just list one,
Emperers Royal Guard!

From 6079 Dark Forest Fortress:

The guy with the reinforced leather jerkin - a great fig that just shouldn't be this rare. The classic scale armor guy is a singularly great figure in all it's variations, but it is quite common.

Darth Vader. Yep, it makes for short posts because it really doesn't need to be told 'why'. Come on, it's Darth Vader, the most evil character EVER.
Trevor

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Hmmm... But at least there was still something good in him and he died not as an evil man. The more evil character is Emperor Palpatine. And LeChuck. And of course Vladek of the Scorpion who attacks the good kings castle... *sigh*

The Black Knight from 6009 is my favorite official mini-figure. Cerlin the Sorcerer is a close second

Darth Vader is a great fig. I remember the first time I saw him, and was amazed at the detail that TLC put into it.

However, I'm going to go with the Samurai Warrior. I don't know the product number, but it was a small box with a horse, the fig, the helmet, katana, armor, lance w/ banner, and the gold horn. It took 3 seconds to put together, but you have a great model of a mounted samurai. And I bought one. One! My kingdom for a time machine!

What about Grand Admeral Thrawn? Or Prince Xizor? talk about evil. Vader? Yes he was evil but there were several Villians that riveled his "evilness". ok I know, wrong forum for this. I'm done

Oh, how many times have I said that! Why didn't I buy more of that?

Not in this case, however - I found 6013 marked down to $2 which is pretty good for a horse and fig with armor (consider that I got the Samurai figure with black armor for the same price, but no horse, and that was a good price). I cheaply waited to see if it would go to $1.50, but it hung on and I finally went in and wiped out the entire store's 20 figs.

how about Captian Redbeard? Now he is evil. Having that beautiful flag ship and trading it in for the sculls eye schooner! lol, LF, we really need to start our own "evil" thread...
