Another 13 Castle Auctions Listed

Post by wlister »

Hi All,

I bet you are all getting sick of this, but I have more auctions listed. There are Centaurs, a huge Orc horde, Mercenaries, Mercenaries on horses, shields and tons of armor. Check them out here:

Enjoy and good luck! :D

Not at all!

I'm debating wether or not to grab the Dwarves when you post them. Hope you're getting a good return on your investment!

Check in one of my other threads, you missed the dwarves. They did go for a sizeable amount. They were a good return on my investment. One or two of the Bull auctions also at least broke even.

For the most part I have not profitted at all from these sales. Based on what I paid on Bricklink, I am probably losing about 30% including eBay and Paypal fees.

I know I have also been questioned about the flat rate shipping, but after packaging costs etc... I am using new mailers at about $1.12USD a piece, these costs are pretty fair. In fact a few of the multiple auction winners ended up paying less for shipping than what it cost me.

The last round was very disappointing with my average loss on investment being on the 40-50% range. I have had to raise my minimum starting bids to prevent this kind of loss again. Most of these auctions start at about 60% of what it cost me to put the armies together. The centaurs and a few other minifig auctions this round have been upped because I'd rather not sell the custom stuff without at least breaking even.

Enough of my woes, enjoy the auctions!

Not getting tired of these,I have gotten quite a few great deals lately.
Although you may be making me broke :D

as for the shipping part, have you tried priority mail?
The boxes,labels,ect. are all free.
I use it in my auctions, though just one custom minifig is pretty light aside from a buch of figs and whatnot.

Lamanda2-

wlister is shipping from Canada, not the USA, so therefore, he has to supply his own shipping supplies.

That's really disappointing, and I'm sorry. I've sold customs before that I don't think I got what they were worth, but I suppose it's really the buyer that determines the auctions. I'm also sorry I missed the Dwarves, those were good customs. Best wishes for the rest of your auctions!

I have added a custom army of 28 Wolfpack minifigs. there is a higher starting price for these as I won't take a big hit on these. There is also a buy it now option if you just can't wait. I have also added an auction for 30 new Bull shields.

Look above and you will see the link.

I will be listing an auction for 5 of my remaining dwarves on Sunday, just because E missed them. :D Those will be the last ones I will sell. I have to keep 5 for me.
