Great work. I think it's good that you took the liberty of using sand blue and medium blue as a stonework color since it really helps to add flavor and balance the image. Very bold. Although it is simple, the offset stone path from the ruins is a nice touch, as is the fallen stone pillar. Not much else I can really add. Love Hobbit adventuring.
Excellent MOC! Your landscaping is very nicely done. The meandering path a good touch, the way its made adds a touch of realism. The ruins great. Did you build them intact first and then "ruin" them? I also think the small ruined building is perfect.
Very well done! I like all of the ruins alot, and the landscaping is great. I like all the details too, like the partially tiled floor in the one building, and the mushrooms. Thanks for sharing.
You really have a talent for creating excellent ruins. The aqueduct is a structure I don't think I would've thought to include, so my hat's off to your creativity -- great job! Can't wait to see more!
OOPS! Sorry I posted my last post in the wrong topic. Anyway, I love LOTR and you did a very good job with everything. The only thing I would change would be Aragorns torso but other than that this is superb.

No, when I'm building ruins I have an imagine of intact building in my mind or on the paper. Then I choose what I'll ''ruin'' (eg. pillars, a part of roof) in my MOC. And after this I build demolished building .
I like this a lot. One of the best ruins I've seen. The procession look very natural and the balance of the MOC's various heights is very well done. My only complaint would be the blues in the stones... I personally don't like this effect.
