Falcon outpost

Post by stawastawa »

i started this tower as a simple way to use up a bunch of 1x2x4 slopes that ihad lying around. i eventually added to it untill it was a full moc with lots of little details. took a good number of bricklink purchses to get parts for details as i dont hav emany specific parts.

started around last spring it was largely finished by june. i saw dave'o'hare's castle and realized that those starwars gun pieces would make the perfect fire plac ethingy. that beiong the last detail it sat around my room untill i atlast fotograohed it and well...

here it is!

Nice! The style is very classic and the roof is a great touch.

Looking good! There are some really good ideas in this MOC. I like the doorway on an angle. I also like how you have offset the tower from the main structure. You have packed in a alot of detail too - well done.

That guy on the tower balcony looks like he's got a bit of a hangover (though)

I really like this MOC. It is not symetrical, which makes it much more interesting to look at. I don't really like the color scheme on the roof, but that's just because I personally don't like blue roofs. It's a great MOC, thanks for sharing it.

I want to echo what kelderic and Josh said. The classic and non-symetrical look work great here!

Good! As the gentlemen above, I also think the asymmetrical tower adds a touch of authenticity. The half-gate on the corner is a cool idea. Nice interior details, too.

thanx for the praise.

i feel i could have done better with the corner door as it is rather impractical for a minfig toget through. also my walls got a bit high as i continually modified the structure.

Cool little outpost you got there. I like how it's situated on a rock.
