CCCIV - Defended Bridge

Post by Skudmunky »

Hey everyone! It's nice to be building again, I haven't built much castle since the CCCIII.

anyways, here's my entry for the Medieval Bridge category. It's a bridge over a small ravine right outside a town. I went with a roman bridge style, with lots of arches. I also tried to keep the classic-castle feel about it, make it seem like a Lego playset.

Some small things to note are the skeleton in the attic and the empty bird's nest. I had a parrot, but lost it before taking the pictures. The story now is that it flew south for the winter ;)

anyways, here's some deepies. These are the pictures for the contest itself.

and the rest of the pictures in a different gallery

share and enjoy

I like the arch work on the bridge, it gives this a very original look. Good job on the landscaping too. It certainly does have that "LEGO set feel" to it.

Good luck in the contest!

I like the way you have put plates on the bottoms of the arches. It really gives it a Roman feeling. Great job!
