Pageant Wagon

Post by KennDoubleN2 »

In the later middle ages, pageant wagons became popular in some cities as moving stages for mystery plays. I gather that these were religious in nature, but typically sponsored by guilds and other civic organizations. I came across the custom while looking for building ideas last year, and finally put one together.

I thought a built-in scene change would be fun, so this wagon has two acts, Noah's Ark and Jesus Tempted in the Desert (the latter entirely to take advantage of trapdoors and red horns).

Very cool. I love all the details you put in this, and how everything moves around to make the various scenes.
It seems that one of the slopes on the slanting roof the cart is missing, though. Was that on purpose?
Good luck in the contest! I think this will do well. :)

The idea is awesome and your execution is even better. Your scene changes and accessories or excellent, wigs and all. This is really great. I like the flaps on the front of the stage. I love the Giraffe heads, too cool.

Wow... that is so very clever.

It is a really awesome model, I rarely want to look at every single photo of a Moc, but this one I have, because there are so many great details.
