When you register for an account on the forum, please include a detailed answer to the "Why you like LEGO Castle?" question. This is the primary method we use to prevent spam accounts on the forum.

There have been several accounts created lately with very short and generic answers. They have not been approved. If you are having issues or have not been approved after 48 hours, please contact us through this flickr post or if you have a friend with a forum account, they can message the admins. We are also on instagram at classic_castle_lego.

A forum account is required to submit entries for the CCC. If you are considering submitting, please create an account soon so we'll have time to resolve any issues that may arise.

A colossal contest for a colossal year!

Wow! This is the 20th year of the Colossal Castle Contest! We've got ten terrific medieval categories and some wonderful prizes to help celebrate the occasion.

The contest runs from November 1st to January 3rd midnight server time.

CCC XX - RETURN OF THE G.O.A.T.!

HEAR YE, HEAR YE!

In celebration of the 20th running of the Colossal Castle Contest, there is a separate, concurrent contest that will be running, for the title of "GREATEST OF ALL TIME" (G.O.A.T)

This special parallel contest with the CCC is an invite to all former CCC Master Builder champions to throw down with the best-of-the-best and see who rises to the top as the GOAT of Classic-Castle.com!

The Prizes

The competition is mostly for bragging rights, but the winner will also receive a brick-built trophy with rare LEGO goat figure perched atop, an engraved brick, and a G.O.A.T. t-shirt from BrickMonarch!

The Building Category

Reimagine a classic castle set, built with modern techniques and aesthetics. The interpretation of this will be left to each builder, but judges will be looking for skill, creativity, and of course resemblance to the original set (including play features!) Size limit is roughly capped at 2x the footprint of the original set.

Well look at that...we (me and the awesome team that helps me) are announcing a save the date! The Colossal Castle Contest is celebrating its 20th anniversary. CCC XX is going to be unique. It's going to have some prizes that I would like myself. It's going to be pretty darn cool. And fun...don't forget the fun!

Can you tell I'm all excited? If not...well I am! Sound the drums and trumpets!!! Celebration time!!!!! :D

Brickscalibur 2021

Brickscalibur, a new castle contest, has concluded. There were 181 amazing submissions across the six categories. The results can be found at brickscalibur.com. This contest was run well due to the immense effort of its creators and will be back later this year.

W. Navarre (Josdu) is the first recipient of their "Dragonslayer" award. Congratulations! Your entries were truly fantastic.

CCC XIX Results

Judging is complete and the scores tallied for the 19th annual Colossal Castle Contest! Congratulations to the winners and everyone who participated. There were many stunning entries.

Out of all entrants, one person's creations stood out. Please honor gid617, the CCC XIX Master Builder.

Submission to the Colossal Castle Contest 19 has closed. Thank you for all your submissions. We had exactly 100 entries this year. View them on the entries page.

We will start judging right away and have results posted by the end of the month.
