point of pathetic writing
Yeah, yeah.

As for the return of Pirates... god, I'd sure love to see some concrete evidence, even if it says we WON'T be seeing a new theme (yet). Also, if they used the hull from Durmstrang Ship and Pirate 4+, I'd have to kill myself.

Yeah- no I don't think so. People are inclined to trust you, and you knew this perfectly well. You made a conscious decision for which you are, in fact, accountable.

For those of you looking for it, the post I quoted came from here , somewhat less than halfway down the page. On page 8 of the same thread he wrote: Maybe you'd all be curious to know that I've been in contact with the LEGO Community Team recently about these mini-figures... Wow... I wasn't too into...

Thought I'd pop in real quick with this: Yes I know, but I thought I'd let everyone speculate for a while first. :P So here's the answer: Both LEGO Representatives told me these were not official Pirate LEGO mini-figures and nothing is planned. How childish. :? Not sure I'm willing to believe an Adm...

I don't think we'll see much of a change anytime soon. Just one in three components of ABS plastic is derived from petroleum. Also, I think LEGO Company will resist any changes for the sake of effective pricing. While the price of plastic might rise a few cents, we aren't going to see sets priced $5...

I can really picture Solid Snake sneaking around in there!
You should add a random box in the middle of a corridor :P

Are you sure you've correctly identified the source of your problem? I tend to do the same thing: I buy and buy and buy, but build nothing. However, I'm constrained more by lack of space than anything else. All the usable surfaces in my room are occupied, and for those of use who aren't sub-100 lb s...

I like how he looks, but during the movies he seems to be portrayed as a coward for the most part.

Anyway, anything with digitigrade legs is awesome.

Megablocks. The worst thing you can do is start a forum from scratch with 30 trillion subdivided sections. It makes the place feel emptier than it really is, and I for one am disinclined to join a forum that feels empty.

I like the steamcar for the most part, except for the gigantic boiler/stack on the rear. A boiler half the hieght with a narrow stack would look more realistic and balanced I think.

I never was a big fan of reviews. Holding the box, opening it for the first time, looking over all the sealed bags.... this is part of the experience I find very important. Seeing it all laid out on a computer screen takes the fun out of it :?

Oh, I know not all threads are worthy of attention and etc, but when you ask a seasoned vet what scale they used in their MOC and he uses the opportunity to belittle you, the community doesn't seem so benevolant. That being said, the atmosphere here at Classic-Castle is far friendlier than Classic-S...

why is it that you can go to any of the huge number of LEGO forums and feel more or less instantly welcome? That must be a wonderful feeling. Unfortunately, I have never encountered it. Newcomers are still ignored. The ignorant are bashed instead of helped. Just like all other communities, the LEGO...

Peg legs are out, gun arms are in! The new Agents line will have an official alternative to this, I think.

I can't decide which one I like more! I think I'll go with the aircraft. The big molded parts that so many people bash work really well here!
