Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego
I wonder if they'd release a completely transparent fig for when the ring is on? That'd be awesome.

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego
Lego does love it's vehicles. Which does in turn make this line problematic. But they do like constructed beasts (as the old Vikings line shows) and buildings (the Castle lines) too. Bearing that in mind here's my thoughts on possible sets from the Hobbit and LotR trilogy. Gandalf arriving in the Sh...

I now have several complete sets of 16. Plus quite a few extra Gladiators and Dark Dwarves. They look impressive ranked up. I wish I had as many Hoplites!

Re: Volunteers Needed for a LEGO Store grand opening event
Now those are some serious discounts. Too bad it'd cost me more in gas to drive there than I'd save in LEGO. I hope some folks in the area are able to take advantage of this one. Besides, it sounds just plain fun! LEGO all day! Hehehe, that just means you have to buy more Lego doesn't it? :) A plan...

Re: 10193 Medieval Market Village - Official Thread
With over 1600 elements, the set is a good deal even for $140. (LEGO employees should disregard the previous sentence ;) ) TLG likely can offer sets like this with excellent price per piece ratios because they receive all of the profit and a retailer does not take 20-30% of the msrp in profit. Ben ...

Re: 10193 Medieval Market Village - Official Thread
Is there any chance these will ever be sold retail?
I'd *like* to order direct from S@H, but the extra $40 shipping kinda blows the budget.

Re: What do you thing about Star Wars sets?
I hate the way the new clones look :orc: The new battle packs also stink..... I got all the old ones (2 of the clone ones) but the new ones are :orc: ugly..... I must disagree with you here. I love the new clone battle packs! The little walkers are much better than the old speeder and weird gun mou...

Re: What do you thing about Star Wars sets?
I like them, but feel they are approximately 20% over-priced compared to non-licensed sets. This makes me sad.

Oh please be released in Australia! On that note, can anyone tell me why TLG don't release sets worldwide? Why release the Mine *only* in USA and Europe? Why country specific sets like Avatar? Got me baffled - other markets may not be as big, but it's not like the bricks spoil in transit or anything...
