This is excellent RebelRock! I like the way you expanded upon the Dwarf Mining set while maintaining some of the original elements. Lots of great little details as always to take in. The BURP mountain looks great, especially with the windows, stairs/doorway and tower hinting at internal structure. T...

Two on the shelf at the Richmond Target on West Broad @ Libbie when I swung by this afternoon: and two when I left (not in the budget  ). I picked up one of them. There are a bunch at the Target at Midlothian & Courthouse. This is a great set and a fun build. The mining carts and catapults...

I like the overall design and the playability with being able to remove sections to get to the interior. The red, yellow and green parts seem to contrast too much with the overall grey though. Perhaps just using one or two of those colors and having them more dispersed throughout would work a little...

Looking good so far. The scaffolding is a nice touch. I'd recommend having some piles of "stone" laying around for the workers to draw from.

Will there be more of the dragon and is it being held there? Seems kinda odd to have a dragon chained up where folks are working.

Both of these are great! The stairs, battlement details and fig activity on the first wall give it alot of visual interest. The watchtower and house are nice additions in the second MOC. My only gripe would be the wall thickness. The height is excellent, it just looks like it would be toppled very e...

Very nice micro-castle. The rear battlements and shorescaping are nice touches. I'll echo DARKspawn's comments on the gaps under the castle. A few 1x1s (either round or square) would fill in nicely.

Good luck in the contest. :)

Very cool Rocko!

I love the color choices and the way you blended castle structure with rock formation. The hangman chain is a nice touch.

Are you going to NWBC? I'd love to join undead forces there.

There are some wildly creative entries in this contest. Some of my favorites for the horse category are 6, 10, 17 and 19.

Akiba's entry in the torso contest has a bizzare, alien beauty. I love it. The skeletal fish entries are quite enjoyable as well.

Thank you for sharing these! :D

I have a little over 200 skeletons (with the evil face), 13 demons minor, 1 demon major, am currently working on 3 large seige/transport beasts, have six winged beasts and am working on some other larger-type troops. No seige engines yet though. They will all be marching on Seattle in October. Can y...

I like the hand construction and the twiggys on top. Some eyes might help it a little but if it was under the control of a wizard, I quess it wouldn't really need eyes.
Nice job!

This is excellent! I love the modularity of it and the construction even more so. The lattice work on the baseplate edges is a great idea.

Thanks for the ideas, this will make planning a castle a whole lot easier. :)

Looks like I'll be able to make it. I'm not sure what I'll be able to bring since I'm flying from the east coast, but bringing a knight (or two) with related gear will be possible at the least (plus a good number of skeletons). Hopefully some seige engines and a diorama will be coming with me as wel...

... And the most important thing is to have fun, as Sava said it is not a competition. Quoted for truth. If you're having fun, then you're on the right path regardless of what others think of the final product. I second the suggestion to study other themes, even if you don't build in them. You will...

If you can get some, a web made from these parts;

and
http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/x101b

would make a good addition for such a terrifying creature.
