Next Best Theme
There is a lot of talk about whether or not Castle will continue into next year, or if it will go on hiatus until it is redesigned. I was wondering which sets the castle community will purchase if Castle goes on hiatus. I personally think I will buy the PoP sets and the IJ sets if that line continue...

Re: What do you want Lego to do with the current Castle Line.
I really don't mind what Lego does in this next year, just as long as there is a next year. The only thing that could really upset me is a hiatus. The Castle line is the only line I buy religiously, between new releases I scour bricklink and ebay for older sets. In the end I don't really care what T...

Re: SDCC 2009: Prince of Persia and Toy Story
Like many have said the Toy Story figures are great, but they have no cross over value. For someone like myself who builds almost exclusively in Castle the parts really have no value. They are really awesome and very accurate to the movie, but they could never find there place in a medieval MOC. The...

Current Castle Theme
I saw a heated debate over on EB about if the current castle theme will continue, or if castle in general will continue period. A simple search here on CC didn't turn up anything on this topic, but it may have just been my word choice. I felt this topic would be better expanded upon by this communit...

Your experience with clone brands
This has most likely been a thread before, but when doing a search I only turned up several pages of clone wars. I was just wondering what is everyones take on clone bricks. I recently bought a pirate set from best lock out of curiosity. It was a disaster. The pieces did not securely fit together, t...

Vintage Minifigure Collection Volume 4
I don't know if anyone has noticed that over on EB they have pictures of the new vintage minifigure collection. It has a forrestman figure and a classic castle soldier from 1978. This may be the best volume yet.

Dark Ages
I was just wondering what set or theme brought everyone out of their dark ages. I'm sorry if this is already a thread I did a quick search, but didn't find anything exactly on this topic. Sharing time... I recently came out of my own dark ages. I happened to be walking through Target one day with my...

Re: Wolfpack
The Wolfpack has long been one of my favorite themes. I think they share the same mystery and mystique of the Forrestmen sets without any predetermined plot lines (i.e. Robin hood, steal from the rich and give to the poor). I have always liked this theme and wished it had been expanded upon. I remem...

Re: Profitable Elves?
I decided to finally give my two cents because I read this thread all the time, but have never responded. I have liked Elves since I was a child and have always made my own. Much like Blaze Ryder I have also used fleshies to represent elves in recent years. Unlike most AFOL's I don't really mind fle...

Re: Knights Revenge
This wikipedia entry has been erased, most likely by a person that is part of this community. That is very helpful, because I hate being misled. There was also another set about a week age with a box number of 1019?. This has also been erased thanks to a keen eye that I would imagine is also from th...

Re: 10193 Medieval Market Village - Official Thread
I have two of MMVs arriving this week; one for building, one to put away with the reset of my boxed/unopened Castle collection. The MMV will go inside my castle walls that I'm currently building. This is by far the best Castle set TLG has ever released. EVER! I too have this set coming this week. M...

Re: Castle 2009 at TRU
thank you so much. I've been waiting on pins and needles for these sets to be released. I went to my local TRU and bought the Drawbridge Defense and the King's Battle Chariot. I also saw the Troll Mountain Fortress, but decided that set would have to wait a couple of days. The new kings is awesome. ...

Knights Revenge
I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I was looking on Wikipedia a couple of days ago, (I know first mistake) when I noticed that for the 2009 Castle line it says there is supposed to be a set called Knight's Revenge. I realize the set number that is listed is 7091 which is the set number for K...
