Create-a-theme Community Build

Hello The idea that I am about to present is one that was inspired both by Anthony's Create-a-theme contest and the Eurobricks community castle build. I thought that it would be an interesting process to collaborate as a community and come up with our own castle theme. I have a fairly detailed set o...

CCCVI Castle Siege

Hello My third, and sadly for me final entry into this great contest. (Wish I could have done more, but schoolwork left me with just the past week for serious building time.) It depicts an army of Crown Knights attacking a wall defended by Orcs, complete with a rickety old siege tower. Comments and ...

Awesome entry, DNL. This is teeming with great architecture, and I love your inventive use of the riding whips as trees. Definitely has that haunted feel to it.

This is a great tapestry entry. I really like how this is depicting something happening, as opposed to just a still picture, because this is what most Medieval tapestries were designed to do. Great work!

This is great. It really captures what I think the admins wanted from this category, and has its own unique style to it. Excellent entry!

Come with me...

CCCVI Vignette Entry This entry depicts two duelling knights. Just as the Black Knight pushes his foe over the cliff, the red-caped knight hooks his sword onto his assailant's axe and pulls him down with him. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=359442 http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Sp...

The Loneliest Tower

CCCVI Haunted Castle Entry Here's my first CCCVI entry, The Loneliest Tower. When Lord Harold's family died, he built this lonely tower of mourning. Upon his death, he was reunited with his son and the two still live together to this day. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=359443 http:/...

I got the new Pirate ship and the Imperial fort, both excellent sets that are better than I expected. I also got an Eyewitness Expert box set on knights, which has a lot of great construction ideas and inspirational pictures. I'm very tempted to buy the Medieval Market Village, but will probably hol...

I'd love some of the old castle sets, especially considering that I missed out on most of them. The MMV is an exception to this rule, though, so it makes my list. 1. Black Monarch's Fortress 2. King's Castle 3. Medieval Market Village 4. Black Knight's Castle 5. Black Falcon's Fortress 6. Forestmen'...

I'm sixteen. I've been building since I was four, but I really got into it at about thirteen. Right now, somewhere around 30 000 parts and 200 minifigs, and collecting steadily.

Wow, DNL, this is a fantastic siege entry. I love the design of the trebuchet, as well as the fortification. Man, I have to get my nose to the grindstone if I'm to pull my weight on Team Bruce!
