Greatest Classic Rivalry

I always felt very strong ties to the Forestmen vs the Crusaders. Very much of that sentiment has to do with notions of freedom, royal/imperial rule and all that Robin Hood faery Tail biz spoon fed to me as a child. It also was much more comical given the LEGO minifigure proportions and building environment. Sweet blocky Castle-ness.

I went with crusaders vs black falcons, when i first started buying castle legos they were the only factions back in '85. My other favourite rivalry was forestmen vs anyone else cause the first lego battle scene i saw was in the 1989 lego catalogue and the forestmen were attacking the three other factions, crusades, black falcons and the black knights. Good times, good times

I had to vote for my two favourite factions, which in my world are fierce enemies - Black Falcons vs The Forestmen.

Are Crusaders and Lion Knights the same thing? If so, probably Crusaders and Black Falcons.

According to their coat-of-arms the so called „Crusaders“ are Lion knights. The other way around it doesn't work. There is no hint at all that these Lion knights are crusaders.

I think wolf pack and forestman would of been good rivals but I dont think it would work out.

I think the Crusaders vs. Black Falcons rivalry was the most iconic. But my personal favorite has to be the Royal Knights vs. Dragon Masters rivalry, it added a nice fantasy element that the others never had.

I didn't know the Forestmen were evil. I always use them as good guys. Anyway, I also liked the Royal Knights Vs. Fright Knights and Dark Forest Vs. Fright Knights.
