a thing about lego sales...

Who buys the most? Kids or AFOLs? kids can sometimes afford a big set, but AFOLs buy these in larger numbers.

so, who buys most?

I think I read somewhere that AFOLs were like 2% of LEGO's market... there are a LOT of kids who play with LEGO ;)

This topic is more appropriate in the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum so I am moving it there. Thanks.

I'm curious how much is spent on special orders from sites like BrickLink. It seems that TLC is trying to get in on that market with their expanding PaB. Regardless, I think Lego recognizes AFOLs as an important and growing market segment.
