Hi Amanda,

So your are you now? So have you uploaded your custom masterpiece designs on Brickshelf yet? These designs could be a real asset to many of our Lego fans.

Ok.

Finally, I've gotten your requests up, but not on Brickshelf. I've uploaded alot of my designs to a Flickr account.

So that means less hassle for me moving things around, uploading and the like. And it also mean no waiting for things to go public.

Here is the link to the account.
Your designs would be located in the 'Torsos and Dresses' set.

Sorry this took me so long.

The maiden designs really look great! You are indeed a great designer! How about making seven more in colours of white, purple, orange, pink, tan, brown and black? No need to upload onto brickshelf if you are too busy, the Flickr account is more than good enough.

The Lego world will have more women soon! All Thanks to Amanda!!!

Wow, Amanda. What a wealth of torso designs! I'm going to make you a contact on flickr right now, so I can find these when I need them.

I really like that peasant torso, the Dobby in grey with scarf and pouch. It just screams "Thief!" to me...

Thank you both, I'm glad you like them.

Yeongyuh,
I just made up your color requests and added them into the set.

I did the Maiden Torso and Maiden Dress designs in White, Purple, Orange, Pink, Tan, and Brown, leaving out the black, since it just doesn't work right with the designs.

Great. :)
I had hoped that people would do this. That is another nice plus to uploading them to Flickr, makes finding them nice and easy.

Thanks again guys,

Hi Amanda,

Have been trying to view the new Maiden Torso and Maiden Dress designs in White, Purple, Orange, Pink, Tan, and Brown via http://www.flickr.com/photos/14558455@N05/ but only saw six Knight torsos instead. Is there any problem with your Flickr account?

Also could not find the undead shield decals that you made earlier, is it possible for you to provide a link back to them again? They are all so well done! How about making a design for a Viking wooden shield with different colours of brown and light brown?

Many Thanks

I was very dissapointed today when I logged in only to view a message saying that my free account can only hold 200 pictures, and the old pictures have been pushed away until I upgrade to a Pro Account.

*sigh*.. Just when I thought I'd found the perfect place to store my decals.. :|

I'll have to look into upgrading to Pro I suppose. I really like using the site, and don't want to go back to Brickshelf, which is very slow when it comes to uploading like 100 designs.

Sorry about this!

EDIT- I found a seller on eBay who is actually selling a 2-year Pro Account Gift code for $20, perhaps I'll give that a try.

Of coarse, if I'm going to upgrade, I guess I should upgrade my main account, and keep all my decals in a set. (Which means re-uploading it all, but oh well I guess..)

I'm pretty sure you can still link directly to the old photo pages (yes, the pages with comments and such); they just don't appear in your stream.

..Thing is, I can't even view those photos that got pushed back, so I'm not sure how I could give the links.

Oh, now I see. From the flickr FAQ (which I hadn't read in a while):
Flickr.com wrote:I have a free account. Some of my photos aren't showing up. Why?

On a free account, Flickr limits the number of photos displayed.

If you have fewer than 200 photos, we display them all. If you have more than 200 photos, only the most recent 200 are displayed.

Your photos are not removed from Flickr, only from the list of your photos. If you blogged a photo and it no longer appears in your list, it will still appear on your blog, and the photo's Flickr page will still work just fine.

If some of your photos aren't showing up, don't panic! Just upload some fresh ones. Or upgrade to a Pro Account.

Note: If your free account is inactive for 90 consecutive days, it will be deleted.
Too bad.

Ok, I won the auction and set up my $20 Two-year account.

Most all of my decals are now up on my normal Flickr account, (Link in my Signature) and I should have all of them up and ready in a little bit.

Think I'll update the first post of my thread soon, since I have created alot more castle designs since posting this topic.

Hi Amanda,

Great! Finally we can see more of your nice decals and the excellent shield designs, as we are also short of male civilians in the Lego castle sets, is it possible for you to modify this Dark Forestman's torso into a medieval civilian outfit?

http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=cas004

Pls remove the belt that cut across his upper torso and also change his belt buckle by choosing any of the belt designs according to the link below, also pls remove the two yellow patches that are located beside his shoulders by applying colour over it. This Dark Forestman minifig is designed to look sleeveless but civilians will look better with the whole torso intact.

http://www.classic-castle.com/howto/art ... sories.jpg

In addition, can you modify this Hunchback's torso to look better by removing the green patch on his left shoulder and colour it brown? Also, pls remove the centre line and replace his rope belt with a proper belt. I believe this Hunchback's torso will look like a more decent medieval outfit after your magic touch.

http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=hrf008

Regarding the colours, pls colour the modified Dark Forestman decal in the similar colours as the maiden, for the Hunchback's torso, i suggest colouring it brown/black, brown/blue, brown/green, Grey/brown, Grey/red and Grey/Tan. You can also choose other colours like purple or orange or white for different colour combinations.

Trust your talent will create excellent decals again.

Thanks!

Ok, while I have yet to get around to doing the civilian decals, I did put together this design for you, Dano.

I couldn't use the black and yellow dragon master dragon as the emblem, since it was really distorted at that size, so I used this version.

I hope it's of some use to you. If you need me to adjust the colors let me know.
