My wife was disappointed because we missed the 2007 Advent Calendar. I'll buy one of these for each of us to make it up to her. Then I'll buy a few more for myself....
Yeah, I believe this is real, and this is awesome on so many levels.

Maybe we will get the whole turkey and other food to go with the kitchen wench, besides just drumsticks! I could be really excited about a table, lots of food, and the wench to prepare it all.
Maybe TLG figures out the minifigs first and makes a mock up of the box, then over the next few months makes all the little sets to go with the figs. If we are loud enough they might hear us and make some we really want.

I dont think so because it says "includes 9 minifigs." with that one it would be tenJacob C. wrote: I zoomed in on the top right corner of the pic because there appears to be another fig hidden along the battlements of the castle:

Not sure if thats a soldier or some other fig? It definitely looks like fig and it almost looks like it has an eye patch on one of its eyes...?
Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me?
I'll let you guys speculate.

Oh my!
I have just this day stumbled upon this thread and seen this wonderful discovery. Wow, I'm beginning to think LEGO is spoiling us. They're slowly giving us everything we've been asking for over the years, and I love it.
I do remember last year seeing a suggestion in the Ask LEGO forum for a Harley Quinn minifigure so that there would be a mold with two uses, the other of course being a court jester. Whether that suggestion had a hand in bringing about this new figure or not, I think it is exciting that LEGO is nevertheless listening, and this advent calendar is just more evidence of this.

All hail!
All hail!
This calendar might be the best minifig pack since the early 90s. It also allows LEGO to give us a minifig pack without actually making a minifig pack. Very clever.

I would have got this set for the jester alone. The rest is a bonus. To a fantasy/castle minifig collector like me, this set is simply brilliant!
I may even get extra sets as birthday/Christmas presents for friends who aren't into LEGO but are into fantasy. This set is enough to turn any fantasy fan into a LEGO addict.

Holy crap. This advent calender is freakin' awesome.
Hey all, non-regular poster here. This is wonderful news. I was disappointed with the 2007 advent calender. It was like a rehash of the 2006 version, so it really bored me. I'm tired of uniformed workers, and would love to see more regular townsfolk with ice skates or skis and beanies and stuff. But this I never expected. A Castle advent calender with actual civilians. Almost too good to be true.

Now we can have a good jester and an evil jester.
