I guess I would enter...it would be great to win some stuff. However, my issue is that your forums require my birth date, and I'm not in the habit of giving away personal information. My other question is this; would I be able to enter my entry in this topic? If that's okay, then I would get straight on it.

If not, then...I guess I'm stumped.

Didn't you have to enter your DOB to get on these forums?

No, actually. Still, maybe it might be worth it, you never know...being a member of the LA Toys Forums would be great.

Having your B-day listed isn't going to give anyone any crucial info about you...

Unless you're really old and don't want anyone to know!

C'mon...

We're all doing it. Don't you want to be like us? :P

Technically, you can lie about your birthday if you feel you really have to 'protect' it. Although birth dates aren't usually considered 'personal' or 'sensitive' information. Your choice. Still, no one would be the wiser if you used your father's birthday, or your brother's, or your best friend's, etc etc.
Forge not works of art but swords of death, for therein lies great art.

Some places ask for your birthdate to validate who you are...

Hey, you never know. Here in England we have quite a problem with credit card fraud, and the internet provides a valuble resource. I'm not worried that you personally will take my details, but that someone else will use it somehow to defraud somebody. But, considering all this, I think I'll join up anyway.

Yes, good point. YouTube does, and that's convinced me that the LA Forums are the place for me! See you there. Thanks!

Actually, I have been wondering why, on my computer, I keep having to use the sidebar to move the screen around on your forums. The center toolbar is quite a distance from the center of my screen, if you know what I mean; if not, I'll try to get a screenshot.

It's confusing, really.

Hey Jeff, when you say it can be a modified version of some one elses, I know I will give credit if I do modify someones, but to what extent do we have to modify it?

Oh, okay. It was so long ago when I registered, I couldn't remember! :?
Sorry, if it sounded sarcastic when I asked, I was being serious.

"Modifing existing designs", and how it pertains to the LA contest -

Simple really. Take any Lego design and change it. Guess what? It's now been modified. How much, or little, you wish to modify it is up to you.

Although...I would suggest using any existing design simply as a base, while adding as much as possible from your own imagination.
For instance; using the Lego Dragon design and adding 2 full wings and changing the colors is far better than simply changing the colors.

I've also edited the original rules to limit the shield template to the LA shield only, which I will be posting later tonight. Sorry for any confusion.
