Hey David, if you read 6 posts up from your huge photo, you'd have seen that I had posted this already.

Also at Walmart: Indy Temple Escape set found for $35.

Yeah, I know. But you didn't post that I got a one.

And the picture isn't that huge. The dimension are 499 pixels wide × 374 pixels high. I read the rules before I posted it:

"...images in a post should be 400 pixels high or less."

Anyway, I just wanted to put up a picture as proof, so that people didn't think we were just making it up. I find that a lot of that goes on in forums and I just wanted to help substantiate what you said, since that is a large price drop. After all, the local Target is still cluelessly trying to sell them for $99.99 and they seem to have a lot of them at the moment.

Congrats on getting six of them. King's Castle siege has a lot of nice elements in it for large structures. I wish I could have gotten more of them, but I got the last one I could find at that price. That, and I just ordered the Castle Giant Chess set, so I'm pretty low on cash until payday. :(

But it's nice to know that about every other post I make on here, someone rolls their eyes and complains about what I say or do. I'm fairly new here and I don't know all the tiny nit-picky rules of this particular forum, though I have read through the official rules and do my best to abide by them. I could simply lurk on here, but I'm trying to participate and contribute to the community. I apologize if I make mistakes from time to time, such as not being an expert on female cows and not knowing that they have horns which are removed and therefore aren't seen or by posting a picture that's slightly too large for someone's taste in an attempt to help others obtain a great LEGO Castle set at a great price. After all, I'm only human. At least I'm not pointing out to you that you're not supposed to include images in post replies, like the rules clearly state, and then rolling my eyes at you. If my image is too large, just say so. Don't be a jerk about it, alright?

That's pretty nuts. And I decided to invest in another Dwarves' Mine, which I may sell at a later time, if I can keep from opening it.
I just want to give another report of finding King's Castle for $30 at Walmart. If your local Walmart ever had King's Castle at the $50 price point, go back and check again! I first found the $50 price at my Walmart the Friday before Thanksgiving, and bought the two that they had. I checked back twice a week and never saw more until today, when I got back from vacation - and they had three. :) Keep in mind that they may not be priced correctly on the shelf. None of the Castle sets at my Walmart were marked as being on clearance, but all rang up at the previously reported prices. (King's Caslte was marked as $50)

I couldn't bring myself to pay $30 for Jungle Cutter after finding such a steal. Here's hoping for $20 Jungle Cutters and $30 Dwarves Mines! :)

I'll drink to that! People who are out there trying to sell dwarves at $10 a pop are going to be out of luck if the price drops any more on the Dwarves Mine. And if the Jungle Cutter goes to $20, I'll pick up a few. The dwarves need some tanks to take on the trolls!

Yeah, about that.. it's only applicable to you. BTW, I was fortunate to find eight of these sets, not six, and they are going to my other LUG members without any markup. Yeah, I might be a jerk, but at least I'm not a n00b that doesn't take the time to read other people's posts. Please take this to PM if you want to discuss further.

King David,

Our CC forum policy is to allow images that are 400x300 pixels or smaller. We prefer users to post one or two images and link to the rest. Thumbnail links often work the best. Thanks.

You can remove the spaces next to url and image to make the code work.

After reading this post I stopped by my local walmarts and neither had the KCS but collectively they did have about 14 of the very big Indy kits marked down to $64 from $84. One if them had a Skeleton tower for $48 still, anyone hear if that one is marked down? This wallmart does not have the pice scanners in the aisles like the Target stores do.

I'm not saying that you're wrong but that sounds wrong to me. If you still have a receipt that hasn't expired, I would think that they would return them for the full price that you paid(49.00). However, if they would do a price adjust, that would be the question.

I am going to try tomorrow so I will let you know what happens.

The Wal-Mart here will give you a refund of what's on your receipt if it's not over 90 days old. I bought my computer for $800 and took it back a few days later and got a refund. The price scanned as $700, but they gave me back the full amount. I went back the next day and it was for sale for $700, so I went ahead and bought it again. So yeah, that's one way to do it. Just return it and hang out and wait for them to put it back on the shelf and go buy it again.

I was just going to tell them to price check it and buy it again.
