my walmart has moved all the older lego stuff on "clearance" to a seperate section with other "clearance" toys. So you might want to go exploring parts of the store you don't normally like pet food or lawn and garden. Mine had the normal toys in the back center and the clearance toys up in the front left hand side by the pet food.puddleglum wrote:At my Walmart, there was a nice supply of Dwarve's Mine's, Troll Warships, and Jungle Cutters on sale in early Jan. I had been stopping by about twice a week checking for reductions. One day when I went a few weeks ago, the section was rearranged with all the new 2009 sets, and all the sale sets were gone. Not sure what happened there.
Wal-Mart has some good sales today

I swung by one of my Wallmart stores Today and found the exact same prices and almost the same inventory of clearanced sets. They had the Dwarf's mine for $45, and the big Indiana Jones set for $64. Some bionicle sets too. Zero castle sets in the store. They have moved the stuff around several times since Christmas, and they have a full aisle of other clearanced crap. I am hoping that they drop the price one more time, maybe in March?
