For the Labyrinth MOC, see flickr or Brickshelf.
To see the Minotaur MOC alone, check it out on flickr and Brickshelf.

For the best effect, listen to this or this while reading. ;)

Please let me know what you think!

Learning French.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Haha, I know, sorry. I very nearly wrote it in Greek (well, Greek letters, English grammar) but opted for this instead- since, I figure, more people would have a hard time reading that than they would have reading this.

Also, I was too lazy to look up the proper letters.

So yeah. >_>

Haha, anyway, thank you! :D

EDIT: I added Brickshelf links to the main post. Not public yet, though.
EDITED AGAIN: Added links to the appropriate songs to listen to while viewing.

Try sun tei daedalou ophelesei. The 'ei' combination in 'tei' should be an eta with an iota subscript, the 'o' and second 'e' in 'ophelesei' should be an omega and eta respectively. At least, I'm assuming that what you want to say is 'with the aid of Daedelus.'

As for transliterating directly from English into Greek, that's a little trickier since there really isn't an 'f' or 'w' sound in Attic Greek. (I'm assuming that you'd want Attic and not modern if you're looking at the story of Theseus.) One can get around that with a 'phi' and 'digamma' to some degree, so I'd try: digamma, iota, theta...theta, epsilon...epsilon (rough breathing to make the 'h' sound), lamda, pi...omicron, phi...delta, alpha, epsilon, delta, alpha, lambda, upsilon, sigma.

I suspect that's way more work or detail than you had intended or for which you had hoped.

Reall actionfilled and dramatic. the music enhanced the drama as well. Very well made. I like how he took the axe from the minotaur, and later used the horn of the beast to slay him. Nice motion effects btw.

woah, thanks for the tips!! Maybe sometime I'll do a Greek intro version and see how it looks... right now though I'm just going to leave it as is and work on other projects. ;) Thanks again, though!

I love the axe, and I thought that that Minotaur was just so cute (I didn't want him to die...)
sun tei daedalou ophelesei

Nice use of σύν, there. But [and this will sound pedantic, but believe it or not I'm genuinely interested...] why use ώφέλησις rather than ὠφελία (or ὠφέλεια); isn't the latter more common in classical Attic?

I have no clue what you guys are talking about, but the comic is funny and sharp, and the minotaur is well built :)
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

I for one should probably get out more... :D

More importantly, I forgot to mention that I thought that the composition of the scenes and the quality of the photography generally were great, too. Really well-put-together comics like this are rare. Thanks for sharing!

Indeed. It's Greek to me, too.
"Old Wizards never die, nor fade away. They just kind of operate behind the scenes and in the shadows... doing all of their weird and wonderful Wizardy things and whatnot."
