My first Lego set was 6648 Mag Racer.

My first castle set was 1491 Dual Defender.

Both are still here with almost all the pieces. I got 6648 in X-mas 92.

Dan
I build, therefore I am.

My first castle set was the Camouflaged Outpost and I have been collecting forestmen ever since. My aim is to get a decent sized forestmen army for a great game of brikwars.

My first set was the 6552 Rocky River Retreat. I think I was four. I've long since misplaced the pieces, but I still have the baseplate.

I have no idea, but I can very well remember that I got DungeonMasters Castle quite early. :D

First Legoset probably was something from Duplo, I have no idea what.
First castleset was Knight's procession.
I had more classic space than classic castle in those days by the way.

I had the same problem, although I didn't find it so at the time. :?

My first set was the 545 suitcase. Which of my castle sets I got first is debatable- I arbitrarily chose Black Monarch's Ghost. :)

Set 677 was my first. It's still my favorite minifig set. I received it as a birthday present and shortly there after convinced my parents to buy two more, so I had 18 figures total. 18 with only 3 sets! Too bad you can't do that any more.

I was playing with them in the back of my parents station wagon during our trip from Portland to Vancouver to visit my uncle. After the visit and returning home to Portland I discovered that I was missing one of the swordsmen! I was devestated. (I was also 6). I still have nightmares about losing that fig.

The yellow castle was next. My 17 figs could never seem to take the castle. They always seemed to be one fig short.....

actually 3 sets at once, the witch with her dragon, the royal king on his horse and the fright knight cart. I think I still have everything from them except the plans... :/
anyway I still have those figs, and altough their arms started dropping off and the royal kings' shield slipped out of every hand I fixed it all (new arms, a bit of glue paper around the handle, new weapons and such)
*And the bulls arrive in kk2*
Cedric the bull: "Hahaha Leo we're here to- wtf?"
*and the bulls see some happy knights bouncing at each other with carts*
Cedric (shocked): "I guess we got the wrong KK''
Bull soldier (frightened): "Lets go back"

First set is a nice place for a firs post! :)

I started out with a few sets that had belonged to my older sisters, most notably the 379 Bus Station
I'm not sure on my first own set, but it was probably this police car

I do remember my first castle set very clearly. Then again, how could I ever forget the moment when I as a 6-year-old unwrapped the 6080 King's Castle! Man how I loved this set, and still do. Biassed with so many hours of playing with it I still think it's the best castle ever made.

Few weeks ago I built it again with my nephew who is 6 now, can only hope he will have as much fun and remember the moment 20 years from now.
