The reason this whole thread was created was to announce them in the US. Now to get some money for some longboats

I got my Fortress today, haven't built it just yet, but I wanted to say something I find comforting. When you lift open the top part of the box, there isn't just pics of the Fortress, there's a huge battle scene of dragons and tons of Vikings.

Why do I find this comforting? REminds me of the old Catalogs when they would have lots of scenes to showcase the sets. I haven't seen anything like that in the world of LEGO for a good while now.

Just brought me back to my childhood a bit, and loving to be entertaing by seeing the battles.

Yes, I agree – I have missed seeing those scenes.

Now that they're all there on Amazon – once again, the prices are what I thought and hoped they'd be – it should be only a matter of time before they start popping up in stores... I hope...

WHile I can't say the Fortress is the greatest set, it is amazing fodder to build a better Viking Fort hehe. Plenty of pieces to really make great things.

The dragon is suprisingly good. Brick-built body, but the rest is bionicle. I think it works well though in this case.

The figures... are just.... outstanding. I've never been more motivated to buy more sets to create a viking army than I have today. The axes are just what alot of us have wanted for a long time. I think the KK2 swords work well in this too, look fairly well like viking swords. Also helps they're only silver, with the exception of the leader who holds a gold one.

All in all I'm saving up hard, because I want to buy many more of these sets, if not them all. First time I've been this excited about a series. Vikings are everything you could want and more.

Can't wait to get the Longboat, then the mini-boat. Then if funds permit, that seige weapon. Really like the age levels of dragons.

Fortress = Elder Dragon, Whelp (baby dragon)
Seige Weapon = Adult Dragon
Small boat = Adolescent Dragon

Really this is the first time I think bionicle works fairly well mixed in.

10/10 on the Viking line :D

I think these pieces would be also good for making castle-theme farm houses, as those bricks are made to represent logs.

Yeah -- you can buy them from Amazon in the U.S. right now. But they haven't made it to stores or (I don't think..) Shop @ Home.

I could be mistaken though -- living in Canada, I haven't bothered to check U.S. Shop @ Home. I know they're not available anywhere in Canada yet. (Amazon.ca doesn't even carry LEGO, or any other toy.)

Looks to me as though we Canadians are suffering the same plight the Americans did back when the KK2 2 sets were released. It's all fine by me though just so long as the prices arent bumped up beyond the usuall currency conversion rates.
well I would at least like to think that I'm evil...

Prices here are ridiculous. That's the one thing I really miss about living in the states -- fair prices.

And Amazon.com (which is a thousand times better than Amazon.ca).
