Rules and Information
When:
The contest is open November 1st, 2024 through January 5th, 2025 at midnight server time (CST).

seconds.
How to enter:
- Sign up for a Classic-Castle forum account, if you have not done so already
- Upload your pictures (see Photos section below)
- Complete this submission form once for each entry
Your submission will be manually approved before it will show up on the entries page.
Photos:
There are no requirements or restrictions for photos. Other than you must have at least one photo and please have each entry having it's own folder.
Images will not be hosted by Classic-Castle. We suggest using Flickr to host your images.
Please make a set of images, AKA album, (on Flickr) for each of your submissions.
Judging:
Will be closed within a 2 week window from the end of the contest.
Judging will be done by a committee and not limited to admins of CC.
If the committee members do not complete their judging by the deadline,
their judging will not be included.
Anyone on the committee, who builds for a specific category, will not be eligible to judge for that category.
Submission will be evaluated on a twenty-point scale.

The committee grades for each submission will be averaged for the creations final score. The highest score in each category will win that categories prize. Each participant can only win a maximum of one prize. If he/she wins multiple categories, one category prize will have to be forfeited. This prize will go to the second place in the forfeited category.
Shipping and Legal Requirements:
Classic-Castle.com will pay for shipping prizes to the winners in the United States.
If the winner lives outside of the USA, they will pay the difference between actual shipping cost and the cost to ship the prize in the USA
or they may opt for a digital LEGO.com gift certificate instead.
All prize winners must contact the classic-castle admins using the forum message system to provide an address and coordinate delivery within 30 days of results being posted.
We reserve the right to modify the rules and prizes of this contest at any time.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and decisions of the judges.
By acceptance of prize, winners consent to the use of their name/likeness/entry materials in any manner by
Classic-Castle for advertising/trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
By accepting any prize, winners agree to hold Classic-Castle, the LEGO Group,
and any prize donor harmless against any and all claims, damage,
injury caused or liability related to the administration of this contest,
participation in this promotion, and/or the use or redemption of a prize.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I submit existing creations?
No. All submissions must be new and not shared online or at public events prior to November 1st, 2024.
Are entries limited to 32x64 or 48x48 size restrictions?
There are no general size restrictions. Certain categories have their own size restrictions.
Is overhang allowed for size restricted categories?
A reasonable amount is acceptable.
How many times can you enter each category?
Twice as usual.
Are digital builds allowed?
No.
Can I collaborate with someone else?
Yes, but collaborative builds do not count towards Master Builder.
Why is my submission not listed?
You will not immediately see your submission on the
entries page,
it will be manually approved which can take 24-48 hours.
Why can't I log into the forum with my new account?
New accounts are manually approved which can take 24-48 hours.
