Jack Craft
Name: Jack Craft
Age: Mid-Thirties (exact age not known)
Background: An orphan of a village destroyed in war, Jack was raised in a series of foster homes, running away from one to join another whenever the mood struck him. He has, at various times, been a thief, a jester, an actor, a baker, a chandler, a forester, a gambler, a scribe, a scout, a cartographer, an herbalist, and far too many other professions to count (and sometimes for no more than a week or so). His chief problem is that, while dexterous and a quick study, he becomes bored with any new profession too quickly to pick up more than the basics-- he is the original "Jack of all trades, master of none." While he can turn his hand to a huge number of skills, he is no better than a dabbler in nearly all of them. Jack can do it all-- so long as you don't need it done very well! The only two exceptions seem to be acting, which he is far better at than even he realizes, and literacy, where he can read and scribe well above average. Jack has just jumped ship after a two-month stint as a sailor, and is still in a wandering frame of mind.
