Brute Forced
The brazen skeletons of Nocturnus attack a vulnerable Kaliphlin settlement, using their own troops to form a bridge for the more senior warriors. Somehow, they also got ahold of a fire ballista - bad news for anyone with wooden defenses!

Crusaders on the Coastline
Sitting along the edges of a foreign land lies this fortified manor - built on an old ruin by some industrious settlers. It is used as the residence for their military leader, and also as a meeting point to discuss exploration of the area.

Jarlin Lumberlimbs
An intimidating sight to most inhabitants of the icy mountains, Jarlin uses his un-dwarfish size to bully travellers into giving him food and coin or 'risk the consequences'. The fact that nobody has yet stood up to him is not surprising, but there IS a logical reason why he's exactly twice as high as any other dwarf from around the region.

Keeping the Beasts at Bay
Deep in the swamplands lies an intimidating fortress owned by Lord Vladek. A section of this fortress is dedicated to the confinement of various beasts and creatures, until they can be trained for battle or sold onto the black market. The bodies of past attackers are hung upon the walls, to scare off potential assailants.

The King's Mis-timed Visit
The Red King , on his trip throughout the lands, decides to pass by one of his river fortresses to stay for the night and rest up. He is dismayed to find that his soldiers are spending their military budget on drinking and feasting - without a care in the world! They even used the patrol boat as a buffet dish, and filled up the escape tunnels with empty beer barrels.

The Pale Lady's Lair
A creepy old inn stands long abandoned by humankind, but is still home to a sad ghost who flies around in hope of visitors to prey upon. Rumour has it that the barrels and goblets are no longer full of ale or wine, but rather the eternal tears of the pale and miserable ghost.

Westwall Prison
Westwall Prison is biggest and most fearsome prison in the Crown Kingdom. It is composed of three storeys:
Ground floor: Administration and holding cells (for short stays). Criminals are sometimes paraded around in public, or sent to the stocks.
Basement: Military planning and standard cells. These cells are small, dark and contain only a straw bed. Used for the average felons.
Sub-basement: Interrogation chambers and cave confinement. Used to extract confessions from the worst criminals in the kingdom.
